The ABC Child Care Program is committed to helping you meet the state’s training requirements during these difficult economic times. We are continuing our Conference Scholarship opportunity for 2012 and are working with the SC Program for Infant/Toddler Care (SCPITC) to support infant programs in our state. Infant & Toddler Guidelines Training Series

The Infant & Toddler Guidelines (ITG) is a new resource available to infant and toddler care-teachers in South Carolina. This document will help you understand how to support children’s development from birth through three years old.

SC Program for Infant/Toddler Care

The SCPITC Professional Development program offers a series of trainings that are focused on supporting the unique needs of children birth to three years old. In addition to training, a certified Infant/Toddler Specialist will provide coaching and mentoring to help you improve your center or home child care program. ABC Conference Scholarships & Pre-Conference Coaching

2012 ABC Scholarship opportunities are now available for Level A and B providers to attend one of four conferences! View the documents below for more information.

ABC Child Care Program

You may want to consider moving up a Level in ABC! Programs enrolled in the ABC Program at Levels A and B can receive conference scholarships and priority in many professional development activities and can also earn incentive rewards for providing high quality care when funds are available. Learn more about the ABC quality levels – it may be easier than you think!
