What types of grants does ABC have available?

Currently an initial one-time grant award may be given when a provider enrolls for the first time in the ABC program at Level A or B. A provider can only receive one initial grant.

How does a child care facility qualify for a grant?

The facility must be enrolled in the ABC Child Care Voucher Program at Level A or B to qualify for a grant and they must serve an ABC client. The ABC Equivalent designation does not qualify a provider for a grant.

Can I get a grant to help me start-up a child care facility?

No. Federal requirements governing the ABC funds prohibit the use of grant funds for start-up.

When do grants have to be repaid?

Grants do not have to be repaid if providers use the funds as required and remain an enrolled ABC provider for a period of 12 months after using the grant funds.
