FAQ : Clients

How does an ABC provider receive clients?

A provider has to be selected by an ABC client. The names of ABC Level A and B providers are given to ABC clients upon request and the clients can choose from the list where they want to place their child or the client can choose another provider not on the list.

How many ABC clients can a facility serve?

A provider may serve all clients who choose the facility, not to exceed the license capacity. Staff-child ratios and group sizes must be maintained at all times.

Can an ABC client transfer from my facility to another?

Yes. A 7-day notification and approval by the ABC Program is required (see the Provider Business Procedures page 11 in the Levels A and B document and page 13 in the Level C document). The voucher will transfer with the client.
